Dear Boys and Girls,
I am so sorry that I have not written lately. You see with all of the rain falling all over the world, it has been giving us up here at the North Pole some problems also. Only here, the rain turns into snow and Santa and I have been almost buried, there is so much.
It was so bad the last month and half, that Santa even gave permission to all the elves to stop making toys and grab shovels to begin digging the snow away from the houses.
My friend, Jo-Jo, the snow gopher tunneled into the drifts so he could tell us which were the deepest. Meanwhile, Santa brought out the reindeer to stamp down the snow with their hooves to make paths so everyone could walk between the buildings without sinking into deep, deep mounds of snow. Then just when we got done, it would snow again, covering everything and everybody with deep piles of snow.
Mrs. Claus was ready with hot cocoa every time we stopped to rest. Even my two friends, the Wish Sisters, kept their fingers crossed so we might finish the job quickly and before we had another blast of snow.
Luckily, we did finally finish and everyone got back to their main jobs of making toys for you.
Anyway, that is what has been happening lately here at the North Pole. Hoping to see all of you this holiday season in Cleveland.
Your Friend,
Mr. Jingeling
Keeper of the Keys
