To all my friends,
I thought I would take the time to let everyone around the world know what is happening up here at the North Pole.
All of us have recovered from the work we did for the past Christmas season. And now that we have rested, it is time to make plans for the upcoming year. Elves are having meetings with Santa, coming up with ideas for new toys. Tom the Blacksmith is tending to all of the reindeers. The Wish Sisters have been busy passing out Valentines while I work with my keys opening up hearts of anyone who needs a little help. As for Jo-Jo, the snow gopher, he is taking care of any chocolate that might be left lying around.
Speaking of Jo-Jo, he was excited because he thought he saw a groundhog looking at his own shadow (trying to predict how much more winter we are going to get). Boy was he embarrassed when we told him it was only his own reflection in a shop window and that it did not matter because winter last all year up here. Jo-Jo realized how silly he was and began laughing and that made the rest of us laugh too.
Well, I’ve got to be getting on, there is a lot of planning and work to do before next Christmas. Remember, be good and listen to your parents, make your parents proud and happy to have someone so special (that’s you) in their life.
Your friend,
Mr. Jingeling
